I started Role Playing with a canon character. In a way those are easier for me because you know how they would react to something or what they wouldn't do. Original character are harder for the one simple fact, they are a unknown entity. It is up to the writer to figure all of that stuff out. It can be a lot of pressure to make them believable. I am amazed by all of those writers that make it look easy. Still, I like to think that I do have a nice bunch of entertaining OC's.

My first original character came from a Grimm fanfction that I am still writing. Her name is Rosaleen Frohmeyer (maiden name is Deage). Because of her, I learned that nothing goes to plan in RP.
She is a distant cousin of Nick Burkharst. She is unique because she is a rare kind of Grimm. One that can see time. All the possibilities and the past. It can be rather confusing. It doesn't help that she is also a blutbad. So, she had all kind of issues. Her husband and Silly Man is Josh Frohmeyer. Jeanette Moriarty is the little sister of James Moriarty. In the Sherlock books Moriarty had a brother. Just going with the nod that the BBC Sherlock show of making Harry a girl, I went with it.
She is much more calm and in control than her brother. That doesn't make her less cruel or vicious. She knows how to play the long game and work from the shadows. She doesn't care for the fame that James wants. She knows that she is good at what she does and doesn't need to prove that she's the best. Doesn't mean she can't have a little fun though.
Right now she doesn't have an SL. Just remember that she can be terrifying. No one expects a monster to be so lovely.
